South Australia Migration: Benefits you can not miss out

Regional areas in general and South Australia in specific offer enormous advantages for International students to apply for Permanent or Temporary residency including:

Requirements for State nomination:

  • Under 45 years old
  • 65 points (including state nomination points – 5-10 points)
  • GSM Skills Assessment in your nominated occupation
  • At least 1 year of skilled work experience in the last 3 years (some occupations require 2-5 years). International graduate of SA get work experience waiver if you are
    • A ‘high performing graduate’ residing in South Australia, or
    • Occupation says ‘available or low availability’ & residing in SA with Proficient English (regional provisional visa only), or
    • Currently working for the last 3 months in a skilled occupation in SA (may differ for some occupations)
  • Meet the English requirement for your occupation. English requirement is waived if you are High performing graduate of SA
    • Completed a PhD or Master by Research in SA
    • GPA of 6.0 or above in a Bachelor degree in SA
    • First Class Honours in a dedicated Honour year in SA (following completion of a Bachelor degree in SA)
    • GPA of 6.0 or above in a Master degree in SA (following completion of a Bachelor degree in SA)
  • Sufficient funds to settle in South Australia (offshore $20-$25k for 1 person) *parental support for SA graduates
